Sunday January 19th 2PM-6PM:
We have turned our company Holiday Party into a fundraiser to support our operations and we have invited YOU! For a ticket price, we’ve created some great value, and a portion of your ticket will be a donation to LSUR’s General Operations fund, to support our mission(s) for 2020.
We would like you to come meet the team, see some of our equipment, hear our stories and enjoy the festivities of our celebration of a great 2019, with Games, Activities, and Food at MainEvent in Independence.
Remember, we depend on support from our community to remain operational.

As I retire from the Public Safety Diving aspect of my life I would hope and pray the community steps up and supports this long lasting team of volunteers in their mission to our community.
May LSUR always be around now and in the future. And may everyone go home at the end of the day.
From Bill Feller LSUR Vice President Unit 32610/2/2019
To: Lees Summit Underwater Rescue & Recovery Dive Team
It is with heavy heart that I must resign and retire from the team. Due to medical reasons I can no longer participate at the required level needed by the team anymore.
It has been both an adventure and a pleasure to work with you all and to serve the surrounding greater Kansas City community for the past 12 ½ years with LSUR as a Public Safety Diver. The team has come a long way in recent years and the training and operations we’ve all been a part of have been the highlight of my time with LSUR.
As I always say I like to leave a place better than when I found it, well we’ve made those strides into the future of Public Safety Diving and the training and professionalism has proven that. Though I will still be make myself available and be around for technical advice and any public affairs outings that you may need help on. However I cannot participate in operations anymore.
May you all have continued success and may you all come home at the end of the day.
